Elie was beside herself with excitement to start her soccer career this fall. Poor thing has spent most of her life being drug to one practice or game or another for her brothers, and she just could not wait for it to be her turn. FINALLY!
Elie has been having a wonderful start to Kindergarten and I am so proud of her! I checked with her teacher to make sure she's not silly in class (she's not) because she spent a lot of soccer practices just goofing off with her buddies. We are such different parents the third time around. Poor Cameron had us so stressed out when he would goof off and not listen, now we just smile and laugh at how cute they are. And people wonder why there are "birth order" traits! It's not the birth order - it's the change in parenting.
She got lucky with a great coach that we already knew from sharing kids in an older class as well.
We got lucky in that we had a beautiful fall and only one game rained on our heads.
