Whose Life is it Anyway?

I may have overscheduled this week.  Exactly one week ago, the boys had their last day of school...

I spent that morning at school preparing the end of the year teacher luncheon our PTO provides the teachers, ran home to grab the boys (who wanted to ride the bus home), and we ended up at this beautiful park for an end of school picnic with a bunch of friends...

Tyler and Elie started swimming lessons 3x/week (Cameron will join them next week)....
....while Cameron started his week long Cub Scout Day Camp out at Camp Rilea.

Tyler and Elie also got to participate in a short, but fun gymnastics camp...

...and a jump rope camp...

Tyler received his first ever trophy at his end of tball picnic potluck...

...and then got to join his big brother Cameron out at Cub Scout camp for 2 days as a brand new Tiger scout...
Tyler could only go for 2 days because an adult had to accompany him the entire time.  With Ronny and my parents out of town, that was a challenge for me to find someone to watch Elie.  But what a cool experience!  The boys' got to hike, fish, paint, do woodworking, shoot bb guns, do archery, and much more!  Tyler even got a bullseye in archery that earned him a special feather bead for his nametag.  With the camp taking place at Camp Rilea - which is a military training base - there were helicopters landing in the field next to ours, soldiers scaling down ropes while they were in the air, and just all kinds of cool stuff to see.

After such a crazy, but insanely fun week - I'm looking forward to Monday morning when all we have going on is swimming lessons....ahhh, summer.  Just about the time Ronny should finally be home to wonder what the heck I was complaining about the whole time.
